Our policies

What to expect before you book, in plain words.

Booking and deposits

Book online at any hour, or call. A deposit holds the custom and long facials and peels, and it goes toward your service. The skin check, express facial, dermaplaning and LED visits take no deposit. Bruna confirms by text or email, whichever you choose.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit, and your deposit goes with you to the new time. Arriving late can shorten your visit, because the hour after yours is held for someone else.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without telling us, the deposit is kept. Bruna is glad to rebook you, and she'll ask for a deposit again.

Children and companions

Squalane sees adults and teens. A client under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs the booking and stays for the visit. The room is small, so other companions wait in the hall.

Patch tests and allergies

A peel starts with a patch test, done at your skin check or a visit before, so you know how your skin responds. Tell Bruna about allergies and sensitivities when you book. Reactions can happen with any skin product; if one does, tell her and she'll change the plan.

If you're not happy

If a visit didn't go the way you expected, tell Bruna within a few days and she'll make it right. She'll look at it with you and adjust the plan at your next visit.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay.

Before your visit

Arrive five minutes early. Tell Bruna at booking what you use on your skin, including anything a doctor prescribed, and she'll say what to pause before a peel or dermaplaning. Come as you are: she'll remove makeup.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant, take a medicine for your skin or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book a peel or LED light. Bruna may also suggest you see a doctor after your skin check.

Book a visit

Choose a time on Bruna's booking page, or send a message and she will reply by email or text.
